This autumn, we're inviting a small group of adventurous families to experience it all with us.

Welcome to Roots & Wings – The Family Rewilding Way in the beautiful Franconia region of Bavaria.

Learn through living. Explore through curiosity.

Over five days, we'll explore, discover and learn through real experiences - letting the landscape, culture and season become part of our classroom.

Wander through forests. Discover castles and medieval towns. Experience local food and traditions. Get outside, get curious, make things, move, play and connect.

Each day includes 1–2 planned experiences or activities woven around our Roots & Wings themes - from nature and seasonal living to culture, history, creativity, movement and practical life.

And then there is space.

Space to wander.

Space for children to follow their own curiosity.

Space to rest, connect and simply enjoy being together.

Parents aren't observers and children aren't being “taught” at them. We're all part of the experience.

Your immersion

Dates: 21–25 September 2026 or 26–30 October 2026
Length: 5 days / 4 nights
Location: Franconia, Bavaria, Germany
Organisation fee: €200 per family

Families arrange their own accommodation, meals and transport, giving you the freedom to choose what works best for your family and budget.

The €200 organisation fee covers the planning, coordination and hosting of the Roots & Wings immersion.

Activity and attraction entry fees are not included and are paid separately by each family as applicable.

How it works

This isn't a traditional tour with every minute planned.

It's a shared framework for adventure - with a small group of families coming together to explore the region and experience learning beyond four walls.

We'll get to know each other, answer your questions and make sure the immersion feels like a good fit.

2. Choose your dates
Select the September or October immersion that works best for your family.

3. Confirm your place
Once we've agreed that it's the right fit, you'll receive everything you need to secure your place.
